Newcastle United has rejected a loan offer from Juventus for their star player Lloyd Kelly.
Despite being open to selling players in January, Newcastle is reluctant to let Kelly go.
This was the second offer for the 26-year-old, following a £6m bid from Fenerbahce that was also turned down.
Newcastle manager Eddie Howe has stated that Kelly has not expressed any desire to leave the club.
Meanwhile, Juventus is reportedly preparing a new offer for Kelly, but it’s expected to be lower than Newcastle’s £25m asking price.
In other news, Newcastle is bracing for the departure of Miguel Almiron, and Juventus is rumored to be planning a surprise offer for another Newcastle player, Sandro Tonali, in exchange for Douglas Luiz.
